KPI has launched the Matthews-branded Location MERF Stand. One of its legs can be extended by up to 7.6 cm, allowing the stand to be leveled on stairs and uneven ground.
KPI launched the Matthews-branded Location MERF Stand in October 2026. The aluminum stand is designed to remain level on unstable surfaces such as stairs and uneven ground. The top features a 16 mm male stud with a 1/4-inch screw for on-site mounting.
One of the legs incorporates a Rocky Mountain Leg, which can be extended beyond the other legs to provide stable installation on uneven terrain. A 5/8-inch grip rail and an arm released at the same time are also available, ensuring a robust setup.
The built-in inner rod is made of stainless steel and is designed to resist deflection and bending. For safety, the baby pin has a safety pin hole to prevent it from falling even if it loosens. The pole is marked with graduations and a flat surface to prevent rotation, and also has a stopper to prevent it from coming off.
