DTS has decided to invest in a fund managed by the JAFCO Group. The company will accelerate the execution of strategic alliances under its medium-term management plan and pursue co-creation with startups working to strengthen their capabilities in AI and security.
DTS recently decided to invest in the JAFCO SV8 investment limited partnership, a fund managed by the JAFCO Group. Under its medium-term management plan (2025-2027), the company has designated the execution of strategic alliances as a priority policy and is accelerating initiatives to respond to technological advances, including in AI. Through these efforts, DTS aims to strengthen collaboration with promising startups and promote the enhancement of its capabilities in AI and security, as well as the creation of new businesses and technologies.
DTS has built a track record of strategic alliances through collaboration with Spice Factory Co., Ltd. and Grand Security Technology Co., Ltd., cooperation with OpenAI, and joint research with universities and research institutions. This investment is intended to further accelerate these initiatives. JAFCO has an extensive track record as one of Japan's largest independent venture capital firms, and DTS aims to expand opportunities for co-creation with startups through collaboration with JAFCO's funds.
