The “Ballpoint Pen Recycling and Fountain Pen Assembly Workshop” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Training Room 2 at the Lifelong Learning Center. The course is intended for approximately 20 people, and the fee is ¥1,100.
The event, titled “Ballpoint Pen Recycling and Fountain Pen Assembly Workshop,” offers participants hands-on experience assembling a fountain pen and the opportunity to learn about recycling used writing instruments.
The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Training Room 2 at the Lifelong Learning Center (13-5 Senju 5-chome, Adachi-ku, inside “Manabi Pia 21”). Capacity is approximately 20 people, and the participation fee is ¥1,100.
Applications can be submitted in person, by telephone, online or by fax. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on 11 November 2026. Once capacity is reached, applicants may be placed on a waiting list in the event of cancellations.
The instructors will be Yoshida Wataru (吉田 亘) and Akutagawa Shigeru (芥川 茂) of the Sustainability Promotion Office, Corporate Planning Division, Pilot Corporation.
Participants should bring writing instruments. Applications should be submitted to the Adachi City Environmental Information Plaza. Information is also provided on the facility’s closing days and other points to note.
