Tech4Equity Project is expanding its digital payments offering for nonprofit organizations nationwide. Through free digital accounts and virtual debit cards, it aims to accelerate fund disbursements and help close gaps in access to financial services.
Tech4Equity Project announced a nationwide rollout. The offering is available to nonprofit organizations with a combined total of at least 50 employees and volunteers, providing digital payment tools without adding costs to existing programs.
The project is partnering with Rellevate to enable electronic fund disbursements through free digital bank accounts and virtual debit cards. This allows spending on emergency assistance, stipends, reimbursements and work-style support to be handled more quickly and at lower cost.
Participating organizations can implement the digital benefits provided, while individual recipients aged 16 or older can access an available account without a prior credit check. Organizations retain control over the allocation of funds, while Rellevate's platform supports distribution.
There are no setup or monthly fees, and core services are free. In addition to emergency benefits, earned wage access, daily transfers, bill payment and up to 2 ATM withdrawals per month may be available.
