Fast Retailing announced that its consolidated net profit for the fiscal year ending August 2026 exceeded ¥500 billion for the first time in Japan’s retail industry. Actual net profit was ¥542.5 billion.
Revenue, equivalent to sales for the period, rose 17% from the previous fiscal year to ¥3.9633 trillion, while net profit increased 25% to a record high.
Continued strong growth in the overseas Uniqlo business drove performance, while data-driven reductions in waste across production, transportation and sales reportedly contributed to improved profit margins.
