The fifth Ballet Mirai Seat event will be held, allowing attendees to watch the ballet performance The Nutcracker and interact with its lead dancers. Applications will be accepted by letter from 1 October to 1 November 2026, and the performance will take place on 26 December 2026.
ONWARD HOLDINGS CO.,LTD. and チャコット are working with the New National Theatre Foundation to present the special Ballet Mirai Seat program. The fifth event will feature a performance of The Nutcracker by the New National Theatre Ballet Company, followed by an opportunity to interact with the lead dancers. Participants will also be invited to take part in an initiative to send them a letter addressed to their future selves one year later. The event will be held on 26 December, and letters began being accepted on 1 October.
Applicants must submit a letter addressed to the lead dancers describing “what I am working hard at in ballet now” and “what I would like to ask the dancers in person.” The lead dancers and the event office will read each letter and select the invitees. Letters may be submitted to designated postboxes at the チャコット Daikanyama flagship store and the New National Theatre, or by mail. The application period runs from 1 October to 1 November.
