Open House Group reported 3Q cumulative operating profit of ¥120.9 billion for the fiscal year ending September 2026 and revised its full-year forecast upward. Meanwhile, its share price has fallen more than 30% from the end of February.
Open House Group announced 3Q cumulative revenue of ¥1.0234 trillion, operating profit of ¥120.9 billion, ordinary profit of ¥116.0 billion and net income of ¥81.2 billion for the fiscal year ending September 2026. As of 3Q, progress against the full-year forecast stood at 68.2% for revenue, 67.2% for operating profit and 68.6% for net income, with a warning against drawing conclusions based solely on quarterly progress.
Based on first-half results, revenue was ¥689.1 billion, up 7.1% year on year, operating profit was ¥84.3 billion, up 14.4%, and net income was ¥57.0 billion, up 22.4%, with profit growth outpacing revenue growth. The full-year operating profit forecast was raised from the original ¥170.0 billion to ¥174.5 billion at 1Q and ¥178.2 billion at the first half, then revised to ¥180.0 billion as of 3Q, up 23.3% year on year.
The company advocates portfolio management centered on real estate. Its results for the previous fiscal year were revenue of ¥1.3364 trillion, operating profit of ¥145.9 billion and net income in the ¥570 range, but it continues to pursue a policy of incorporating investment properties based on assumptions including demand for central Tokyo condominiums.
The share price has fallen notably by more than 30% from its end-of-February high, possibly weighed down by factors including interest-rate trends. The relationship between share-price movements and earnings results cannot be determined conclusively.
