Trenders announced that it will strengthen collaboration between its marketing business and EC consulting business, its two business segments, and expects net sales of ¥9,500 million and operating profit of ¥900 million for the fiscal year ending March 2027. It also outlined initiatives in new areas, including overseas expansion.
Trenders expects net sales of ¥9,500 million (up 14.8% year on year), operating profit of ¥900 million (up 23.8%), ordinary profit of ¥810 million (up 11.8%), and net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥450 million (up 107.6%) for the fiscal year ending March 2027. In light of uncertainty in the market environment, the company has adopted conservative estimates that incorporate downside risk adjustments for each business, but believes there is significant room for growth.
The marketing business is expected to generate net sales of ¥8,437 million and gross profit of ¥4,207 million. After deducting ¥520 million in net sales and ¥207 million in gross profit as downside risk adjustments, the final forecasts are expected to be net sales of ¥7,917 million and gross profit of ¥4,000 million. The company aims to drive a recovery in the fiscal year ending March 2027 by reviewing pricing for influencer marketing and redesigning its service offerings.
The EC consulting business plans to generate net sales of ¥1,560 million and gross profit of ¥1,130 million. It will similarly deduct ¥90 million in net sales and ¥45 million in gross profit as downside risk adjustments, resulting in final forecasts of net sales of ¥1,470 million and gross profit of ¥1,085 million. Against the backdrop of しるし's track record of securing Amazon Platinum Partner status, the company aims to expand orders through EC marketplaces.
The investment business is expected to generate net sales of ¥113 million, a 13.9% decline from the previous fiscal year. The decline in revenue and profit is attributable to the decrease in the balance of operating investment securities.
Demand for marketing support is increasing in the United States, Europe, and Asia, including South Korea, as overseas expansion and new business areas. The company is looking to fully scale up operations in the fiscal year ending March 2027 by leveraging the network of its US subsidiary and the Korean subsidiary of アイスタイル, its capital and business alliance partner.
