TOPPAN has launched a CX support service using AI personas. Based on official statistics, its consumer data platform reproduces Japan's population structure and adds information on consumers' values, preferences and behaviour using 100,000 AI personas. It is designed to capture the entire market, including non-customers and potential customers, by extracting target groups based on criteria such as region, household, income and values.
Through dialogue, the AI personas identify needs and the background to behaviour, then generate and compare promotional and campaign proposals, validate responses and support improvements to initiatives. Unlike conventional representative profiles consisting of a small number of personas, the service is described as distinctive in retaining diverse consumers at the individual level.
The service's features include building a 100,000-person data platform, creating AI personas through data integration, generating and pre-testing creative content, and deploying promotions across both physical and digital channels. Faster PDCA cycles through integration with Shufoo!, planned expansion of data integration, and rapid generation and response testing of initiatives are also highlighted.
The standard version is priced from ¥10 million, the service launches on 13 October 2026, and its target sectors are distribution, retail and manufacturers. The company aims to secure approximately ¥2 billion in related orders by the fiscal year ending March 2030. Going forward, it plans to build dedicated AI persona environments combining companies' proprietary data and expand its CX support platform.
