Smaregi is scheduled to acquire CXDネクスト's online POS business through an absorption-type company split, for consideration of ¥1. The transfer is scheduled to take effect on 1 December 2026, with employee employment contracts excluded from the scope.
Smaregi resolved to acquire the online POS business held by CXDネクスト through an absorption-type company split and entered into an absorption-type company split agreement on the same date. Consideration for the company split is ¥1, and the effective date is scheduled for 1 December 2026.
The business to be transferred is the online POS business, which provides cloud-based POS services, cashless payment services and sales aggregation services. Revenue for the fiscal year ended March 2026 was ¥191 million.
CXDネクスト has indicated a policy of ending the business during 2029. Smaregi plans to continue providing the services until the business ends and propose that customers migrate to its own services, thereby expanding its customer base for cloud services for stores.
