GreenSnap and Fumakilla have released an AITuber version of “AI Gardening Expert Kadan-kun,” which they jointly developed. In this new format, 7-year-old Kadan-kun moves and speaks, and the product is intended for use at events and stores.
GreenSnap and Fumakilla announced that they had developed an AITuber version of “AI Gardening Expert Kadan-kun,” which they jointly developed, and prepared a demo that allows users to experience a live demonstration. Kadan-kun, who had previously provided text-based answers, now operates as an avatar with a voice and movements.
“AI Gardening Expert Kadan-kun” was released in April 2024, initially offering plant disease and pest identification and proposed countermeasures. In April 2025, AI chat, growing guidance and product recommendation features were added. The character’s identity as a 7-year-old is used to make the service more approachable.
The AITuber version has three main features: Kadan-kun speaks and moves as an avatar, expresses the characteristics of a 7-year-old boy, and is intended for use at events, exhibitions and stores. The aim is to provide an experience that makes it easy for users to seek gardening advice.
Going forward, the companies plan to promote use at events, exhibitions and stores, among other venues, and support the creation of points of contact with the brand. The demo can also be experienced at “Kadan Fest 2026 Autumn,” to be held at Funabashi Racecourse on 10 October 2026.
