日東工器 has announced a new product in its beveler series. Compared with existing models, the new product uses a pentagonal cutting-edge design to extend insert life and increase cutting speed by approximately 2 times. It is scheduled for launch on 1 September 2026.
日東工器 has announced the launch of a new model in its beveler series of power tools for beveling, which smooths the edges of metal components. The new model offers approximately twice the operating speed of existing models, along with improved durability.
The new design changes the cutting edge from a square to a pentagon. As a result, cutting can continue using the other edges even if some become unusable, extending insert life. The model is also equipped with a newly designed motor, which contributes to improved operating efficiency.
The new model comes in 2 types, for straight-line and curved applications. The straight-line model is priced at ¥156,800 excluding tax, while the curved model is priced at ¥168,000 excluding tax. The models will go on sale on 1 September, and combined sales of 2,000 units are targeted for fiscal 2026.
