Kasumigaseki Capital has launched a condominium development project in Dallas, U.S., jointly with local developer ASD. The project will be developed around Uptown in northern Dallas through a JV as part of the company’s efforts to expand its residential business.
Kasumigaseki Capital has established a joint venture with Dallas-based developer ASD and begun condominium development. The project is positioned as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its overseas business, with the company seeking to expand into the residential sector in addition to hotels and logistics facilities.
The development site is located in northern Uptown in Dallas, near areas offering convenient access to commerce and daily amenities, including Katy Trail and the Knox area. Local developer ASD has expertise in the development and operation of multifamily housing and mixed-use properties, and that experience is expected to be utilized in this project.
Kasumigaseki Capital has stated that it aims to develop highly competitive properties by applying its strengths to the residential market, including DX-enabled labor-saving operations in Japan, highly designed spaces, and the creation of added value through collaboration with partner companies.
Although the company expects the project to have a minimal impact on earnings for fiscal 2026, it has stated that it plans to establish a model for its overseas residential business based on its track record in the U.S. market and strengthen its position as a global real estate consulting company.
