Tsugami raised its forecast for consolidated net profit for the April–September 2026 period to ¥12.3 billion. Sales and operating profit are also expected to be raised on solid demand in the Chinese and Indian markets.
Tsugami announced on the 20th that it expects consolidated net profit for the April–September 2026 period, based on IFRS, to rise 72% from the previous period to ¥12.3 billion. This is ¥3.3 billion above its previous forecast, while the sales forecast was raised by ¥6.2 billion to ¥81.2 billion.
It also expects operating profit to reach ¥25.2 billion, up 66% year on year. The company plans to increase its annual dividend to ¥110, compared with ¥85 for the previous fiscal year.
The consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 is scheduled to be disclosed when the company announces its April–September results in November. Solid demand in China and India for machine tools used in data centers and pneumatic equipment was cited as a factor behind the upward revisions.
