M&A Capital Partners has entered into a business alliance with Minami-Nippon Shimbun and will launch a regional co-creation project in Kagoshima Prefecture. As the first initiative under the alliance, it will hold an M&A seminar for business owners in Kagoshima Prefecture on 11 November 2026.
M&A Capital Partners Co., Ltd. entered into a business alliance agreement with Minami-Nippon Shimbun on 2 October 2026 and launched the 23rd Regional Co-Creation Project in Kagoshima Prefecture. The initiative was announced as part of efforts to address regional issues and support the sustainable growth of local companies.
Population decline and a shortage of business successors have been identified as challenges in Kagoshima Prefecture. Early consideration of options such as business succession and M&A is regarded as important to the development of the regional economy. Kagoshima has a diverse industrial base, including agriculture, forestry and fisheries, as well as food-related industries, and measures to support the growth of companies in the prefecture are needed.
Specific initiatives under the alliance will include strengthening information dissemination and promoting the introduction of companies that can contribute to business succession, growth strategies and corporate revitalisation. The first initiative, the M&A seminar, will target business owners in Kagoshima Prefecture and cover M&A as an option for business succession. It is scheduled to take place from 11:00 to 13:00 on 11 November 2026.
The contact for this matter is the Public Relations Office of MACP. The company says it will continue providing accurate information on business succession and M&A through disclosed information.
