ANRITSU CORPORATION has developed and begun sales of an option adding Wi‑Fi 8 and Bluetooth Low Energy RF characteristic evaluation functionality to the MT8862A wireless measurement instrument. The company also plans to exhibit the solution at MWE 2026.
ANRITSU CORPORATION has added an option enabling RF characteristic evaluation for Wi‑Fi 8 and Bluetooth Low Energy to the MT8862A as a new wireless connectivity measurement function and has begun sales. This provides an environment for evaluating both standards with a single unit.
The new function is provided as software, allowing existing MT8862A customers to expand their Wi‑Fi 8 and BLE evaluation capabilities without introducing additional equipment. Wi‑Fi 8 supports the latest requirements, including 320 MHz bandwidth and 4096QAM, while also supporting previous standards with a single unit.
Bluetooth Low Energy RF characteristic evaluation can be conducted in accordance with the test specifications established by the Bluetooth SIG. It can be used not only to verify communications performance but also to identify the causes of problems when they occur. The solution supports network mode and OTA testing with actual devices and measures transmit power, modulation accuracy and receiver sensitivity, among other parameters.
The company plans to exhibit this measurement solution at MWE 2026, to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from 25 to 27 November 2026, and will continue providing solutions that address advances in wireless technology.
