Accenture announced that it has agreed to acquire コムウェア. Following completion of the share acquisition, more than 180 professionals from コムウェア will join Accenture, accelerating the expansion of Accenture Edge, a new organization focused on building digital cores.
Accenture Co., Ltd. has agreed to acquire コムウェア株式会社 to expand its Accelner Edge business, which supports growth companies in adopting AI and transforming their businesses. The details and terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Following completion of the share acquisition, more than 180 professionals from コムウェア will join Accenture and drive the expansion of Accenture Edge, established in June 2026. This will strengthen Accenture’s ability to provide end-to-end services, from building to operating digital cores using AI, data and cloud technologies.
コムウェア has handled the implementation and operation of ERP solutions, primarily SAP, for many years and has more than 25 years of experience as an SAP Japan business partner. Through the agreement, the companies aim to accelerate customers’ transformation by combining コムウェア’s strengths, including hands-on support and its “COMet” implementation templates, with Accenture’s global execution capabilities.
