Actor Matsuoka Masahiro (松岡昌宏) attended Panasonic’s new product presentation for its Arauuno toilet line, held in Tokyo. Looking back on his appearance in a commercial for the original Arauuno 20 years ago, Matsuoka compared himself at around age 30 with the present day and expressed his gratitude for the product’s continued popularity and for being invited by those involved.
Footage from 20 years ago was also screened at the presentation. Matsuoka said he felt honoured that a product he had been involved with had continued over the passage of time. An unveiling ceremony was also held alongside the introduction of the new product.
