Effective 1 December, Executive Officer and Head of the Corporate Planning Division Ideura Naoko (出浦直子) will become the new president, while current President Ogawa Yoshihiro (小川吉宏) is scheduled to retire effective 30 November.
The incoming president, Ideura Naoko (出浦直子), was born in 1981 and is 45 years old. After graduating from Keio University Faculty of Law, she joined Sumitomo Corporation, where she was involved in planning for the lifestyle industries and web business operations. She was then seconded to アシェット婦人画報社 and later joined ジュピターショップチャンネル in 2011, with experience including a secondment to an affiliated company in Thailand.
In 2019, she completed an MBA at Stanford University in the United States. In 2020, she became team leader of Sumitomo Corporation's Digital Business Planning Department (DX Center), and in 2024 she became head of the Media Commerce Unit. Since 2026, she has served as Executive Officer and Head of the Corporate Planning Division.
Ideura has built experience across a broad range of fields, including mail-order retail, media, digital operations and overseas business. Attention will focus on how ジュピターショップチャンネル, whose foundation is television shopping, advances a commerce strategy combining digital operations.
