NEC raised its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 and said non-GAAP operating profit is expected to rise 8.2%. Domestic IT services and aerospace and defense remain solid.
NEC announced that it had raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Its non-GAAP operating profit forecast was revised upward from the previous forecast, with growth of 8.2% expected.
The revision was attributed in part to solid conditions in the domestic IT services market, with strong performance in the domestic IT services segment identified as a factor driving overall results.
The aerospace and defense businesses were also reported to remain strong, suggesting that these businesses will contribute to improved full-year results.
The upward revision to the Third Mid-term Management Plan relates to its fiscal 2026 targets, according to reports.
