Bluetooth SIG has established a Japanese entity and launched Bluetooth JMG, a group dedicated to promoting collaboration in the Japanese market. It also announced that Japan has the world's third-largest membership base and will work to strengthen collaboration between Japan and APAC.
Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) has established Bluetooth SIG Japan G.K., a Japanese entity based in Tokyo. It has also launched the Bluetooth Japan Member Group (Bluetooth JMG), which will promote collaboration and market development in Japan.
More than 2,900 Japanese companies belong to Bluetooth SIG, and Japan ranks third worldwide in terms of membership and product certifications. The establishment of the Japanese entity is intended to strengthen collaboration with member companies in Japan and the APAC region.
Bluetooth JMG will serve as a dedicated forum where Japanese member companies can directly share perspectives on the Japanese market and their technical expertise with the global community. The group says it aims to apply the innovation developed in Japan to the future growth and development of Bluetooth technology.
