The first offering is 旭光電機's IoT water-leak monitoring solution, Leak Watchman, priced at ¥72,600 excluding shipping. Purchases are made through the SORACOM IoT Store, and the package is intended for a 3-year usage period.
Leak Watchman monitors for water leaks 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and sends an email notification to registered recipients when an abnormality is detected. The product is installed by connecting a detection strip to the main unit, and operation can begin simply by pressing a switch. It comes standard with a SORACOM IoT SIM and also supports checking sensor status and identifying the location of a leak through a dedicated website.
The package includes 1 main unit, a 2 m detection strip, a SORACOM IoT SIM, a dashboard and an email notification function. A drawing of the installation site can be linked to the dedicated website. The configuration is suited to management around piping at buildings, factories and warehouses, and is designed for use immediately after installation.
Three years of communications and cloud usage fees are included.
