KGC, a major Korean comprehensive health food company, has signed a business partnership memorandum of understanding with Japan’s オオキヘルスケア. The companies plan to strengthen the H&B business in the Japanese market and jointly pursue materials development and distribution expansion.
KGC, a leading Korean health food company, announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding on 28 September with オオキヘルスケア, a Japanese healthcare distribution group, to strengthen its H&B business in the Japanese market. For many years, KGC has registered and sold its red ginseng product, CheongKwanJang Red Ginseng, as a pharmaceutical in Japan through オオキ製薬.
Under the MOU, KGC plans to move beyond simply selling products and develop materials and products tailored to the needs and trends of Japanese consumers. By using オオキヘルスケア’s extensive distribution channels, KGC aims to create an environment in which health foods, including red ginseng, can be made more readily available, while building a medium- to long-term partnership.
