GMO-FG has revised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026, indicating that its revenue and operating profit outlooks are expected to remain unchanged or exceed the previous forecasts. The operating profit forecast has been raised from ¥2.8 billion to ¥2.9 billion.
The company expects revenue in the SME segment to remain firm, as promotional initiatives targeting small and medium-sized merchants have proved effective. The fact that initial revenue significantly exceeded the original forecast has also been cited as a contributing factor.
Recurring revenue is expected to contribute to overall revenue growth, as the number of active IDs and the volume and value of payment processing have all expanded more than expected.
For Advantest, selling pressure is expected to lead trading amid the decline in US stocks. From a technical perspective, attention is focused on resistance around the 25-day moving average and the battle around the 75-day moving average.
