Cuebus, 矢崎総業 and 山善 will begin a demonstration on 21 September at a newly built innovation facility in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, testing the integration of a linear motor-based automated warehouse and humanoid transport.
Cuebus, 矢崎総業 and 山善 plan to conduct a demonstration of integration with humanoid transport at a newly built innovation facility in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, based on the planned introduction of the linear motor-based automated warehouse CUEBUS.
The demonstration will assess coordination between processes, route optimisation and the effects on inventory management across the workflow, with a humanoid robot receiving parts and materials automatically retrieved from CUEBUS and handing them over to the next process.
CUEBUS can achieve high-density storage without requiring people to secure aisles. Combined with humanoid transport at the facility, it may reduce wasted movement, shorten lead times and ease workloads.
