ZOOM plans to launch the NEURIG guitar processor with next-generation AI technology in early November 2026. Priced at ¥47,800, it will be available through ZOOM STORE.
ZOOM has announced NEURIG (Neurig), a neural modeller for guitar amps and effects. Equipped with a new AI processing engine called DNA Engine, it will launch in early November 2026. The expected retail price is ¥47,800, and it is expected to be available through ZOOM STORE.
NEURIG uses AI-based neural modelling. Against the backdrop of growing adoption of the NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) A2 standard, ZOOM aims to promote tone sharing through an open standard. Competitors are said to include Line 6’s Helix Stadium Floor and Positive Grid’s REACTOR, while ZOOM aims to deliver professional-quality sound at an accessible price point.
DNA Engine uses a hybrid approach that assigns the optimal neural processing to each amplifier circuit block. Unlike conventional static captures, it realistically reproduces changes in tone in response to knob adjustments and variations in picking dynamics. The NEURIG unit includes 10 DNA models.
The unit natively supports NAM A2 Lite and can import more than 7 million files free of charge through the dedicated SessionZ Pedal app. Hardware features include a 2-inch dual touchscreen and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing approximately 4.5 hours of continuous operation. Cloud connectivity provides features including AI-assisted tone creation and stem separation.
