Hoosiers Group sponsored and participated in the 12th Tour de Iwaki 2026, held on the first National Cycle Route in the Tohoku region, with 18 employees taking part. Of these, 6 participated as riders and 12 supported event operations as volunteers.
Tour de Iwaki 2026: Ride Fukushima Hamakaido was held on a course of approximately 180 km centered on Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture. The main setting was the Fukushima Hamadori Cycle Route, the first route in Tohoku to be designated as a National Cycle Route. Approximately 950 riders participated across all courses this year.
Hoosiers Group has continued to sponsor and participate in the event since 2015, making this its 11th year of participation. On the day of the event, 18 Group employees took part, including 6 riders and 12 volunteers who supported event operations.
The event was held on 1 November 2026, with the main venue at Onahama Aquamarine Park. The riding areas were Iwaki, Hirono and Naraha, and the courses comprised the Long course at 111 km, Middle at 68 km, Short at 35 km and First-Time Cycling at 13 km.
Against the backdrop of its long-standing business operations in Tohoku, Hoosiers Group has been involved in the event to contribute to earthquake recovery and regional revitalization. The Group has stated its policy of continuing to advance these initiatives as a social developer.
