Morinaga Milk Industry will launch its new Pino product, Pino Aromatic Café Latte, nationwide for a limited time from 26 October. The product is being relaunched to mark Pino’s 50th anniversary and brings back a flavor that was popular in the past.
Morinaga Milk Industry announced that it will launch Pino Aromatic Café Latte, a fragrant café latte-flavored ice cream, nationwide for a limited time from 26 October as a new addition to its long-selling Pino brand. The product will return to the market to mark the 50th anniversary of Pino’s launch.
The product focuses on the aroma that spreads in the mouth, featuring what is known as “retronasal aroma.” It recreates the flavor of a café latte by blending two types of coffee extract, Colombia Supremo and Ethiopia Mocha, at a 73:27 ratio. Different roasting levels are used to balance bitterness and aroma, creating a profile in which the coffee flavor can be experienced across a broad range.
The product’s relaunch follows its achievement of the No. 1 repeat-purchase rate among limited-edition flavors launched between 2021 and 2025, as well as numerous past requests for it to be brought back. It is being relaunched on the occasion of Pino’s 50th anniversary in response to customer demand.
According to the official release, nationwide sales will begin on 26 October 2026, with the product available for a limited time. Morinaga Milk Industry is promoting the café latte flavor, which enhances the balance of aroma and taste by drawing on the strength of the Pino brand.
