TKP announced that the provisionally named APA Hotel〈Yamagata Station Front〉is scheduled to open near Yamagata Station in March 2028, with 237 double and twin rooms in total. TKP President Kono Takateru (河野貴輝) disclosed details of the provisionally named APA Hotel〈Yamagata Station Front〉, which aims to open in Yamagata City in March 2028. The 14-story building will have 237 double and twin rooms in total and is intended to meet demand ranging from business travel to tourism.
The hotel will introduce an operating model under which hot spring water from locations in Yamagata Prefecture is transported to the hotel for bathing. It will also serve as a “regional showroom” encouraging tourists to stay while visiting the prefecture’s hot spring resorts.
The new hotel near Yamagata Station is part of the development of Yamagata City’s east exit area and will occupy a property leased from NOB Holdings. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held on the 17th. Further hotel development is expected in the surrounding area, with movement on another project also expected in spring 2029.
The facility will be located on the 13th floor of the OS Building, 3-3 Komatsubara-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. It will be directly connected via the underground mall to JR Osaka Station, Hankyu-Hanshin Osaka-Umeda Station and Umeda Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line. The contracted floor area is 429㎡, serving demand for events and training.
