The packaging design for the NIPPON PREMIUM series has been renewed, and all 10 items, including 3 with revised flavors, will be launched on a rolling basis from late October. The packaging has been changed to a design centered on white that expresses producers’ dedication.
The NIPPON PREMIUM series of chuhai, made with carefully selected ingredients from across Japan to showcase the country’s landscapes and flavors, will undergo a renewal featuring refreshed packaging designs for 10 items, including revised flavors for 3 items. Launches will begin on a rolling basis from late October, further developing the long-selling series as it enters its 14th year.
The new design is centered on white and features the thoughts and dedication of the producers on the back, expressing the image of agricultural products grown by producers being tied with a ribbon and delivered to consumers. The contents have also been refined to draw out the appeal of the ingredients and accentuate the characteristics of each item.
The 3 items receiving flavor revisions are Furano melon from Hokkaido, iyokan from Ehime and Japanese pear from Chiba. Sweetness, acidity, aftertaste and juiciness have been adjusted to bring out the ingredients’ natural flavors more fully.
The product lineup consists of 10 items, with specifications including 350ml and 340ml cans. Products will be shipped nationwide on a rolling basis, with a suggested retail price of ¥183 (excluding tax), below ¥373. The company aims to continue showcasing the excellence of Japanese ingredients and to promote a cycle that contributes to the revitalization of producers and local communities.
