Former Giants manager Takahashi Yoshinobu (高橋由伸) provided commentary for Nippon Television’s live broadcast of the Giants–Tigers battle for first place at Tokyo Dome.
Takahashi Yoshinobu (高橋由伸) described the Giants’ player turnover in recent years as “particularly intense,” and commented that although it had been some time since he left the team, he took a quick look today and saw that Kishida Yukinori (岸田行倫) was the only player still there from his time.
He added that Kishida Yukinori (岸田行倫) had barely been with the first team at the time, and spoke reflectively about how injuries had resulted in an increasing number of players he did not know.
This commentary was based on Takahashi Yoshinobu’s (高橋由伸) experience managing the Giants through 2018.
