Elix has entered into a joint research agreement with the University of Vienna to combine nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy with AI in developing drug candidates targeting proteins that have traditionally been difficult to address.
Drug discovery startup Elix announced on 29 July 2026 that it had entered into a joint research agreement with the University of Vienna in Austria covering drug discovery.
By integrating the research group’s advanced NMR spectroscopy technology with Elix’s strengths in AI and computational chemistry, the parties aim to develop drug candidates targeting proteins that have traditionally been difficult to address using conventional drug discovery methods.
