テクノダイナミックス has announced a new product. The 3 standard models in its ArmorDrive XR series, which use a proprietary coaxial roller cam developed in-house, achieve a broader reduction-ratio range in a single stage than previous models. They combine compact, lightweight design with high precision and durability.
テクノダイナミックス has announced 3 standard models in its ArmorDrive XR series as new products. The company is proposing a design that uses a proprietary coaxial roller cam developed in-house and achieves reduction ratios ranging from approximately 1/8 to approximately 1/200 in a single stage.
The company says it has reduced the size and weight of the units by lowering the number of components, while pursuing high precision and durability by eliminating gaps between drive components. This is expected to make the products suitable for new applications for precision reducers, including areas requiring highly precise transport of mobile objects and highly precise positioning of mechanisms.
The company anticipates applications in high-precision robot joints related to physical AI, machine tools, and high-speed, precision transport and positioning of semiconductor and electronic components, and expects demand to expand going forward. It states that it plans to increase annual production volumes in the future.
The announcement aims to improve the performance of conventional precision reducers while combining lower overall weight through a reduced number of components with ease of integration.
