NTT DATA AIVista, the NTT DATA Group's Silicon Valley base, has begun operations. With approximately 35 people and plans to grow to 50–60, it is driving the development and global rollout of an AI solutions platform, primarily with engineers from GAFA companies.
NTT DATA AIVista, the NTT DATA Group's local base in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley, has been established and begun operating as a hands-on team focused on developing and commercialising the latest AI solutions. The NTT Group is showing its intention not only to collaborate with local startups, but also to build its own AI platform.
The company currently has approximately 35 employees and is expected to grow to 50–60. Motohashi Kenji (本橋賢二), the CSO, is the only secondee from Japan, while locally hired engineers from leading technology companies make up the majority of the workforce.
Many of the company's members have experience at AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta and Apple, and the team has been organised as an elite group with a track record of more than 100 patents. The NTT DATA Group's Silicon Valley base is positioned not simply as an information-gathering office, but as a hands-on team advancing the development of the foundations for AI solutions.
The base is located in a business park in Palo Alto, approximately one hour south of central San Francisco, and plans to strengthen its organisation by combining locally hired employees with talent from overseas.
