KEY COFFEE INC. held the Food & Wine Proposal Fair 2026, a trade show for the foodservice market, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho Building, bringing together products aimed at revitalizing coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and employee cafeterias. Approximately 30 companies exhibited, and advance visitor registrations reached a record high of approximately 500. Many visitors were believed to be from institutional catering and the hotel industry.
A proposal centered on Credal Argent foodservice products introduced a pairing of cakes with Toarco Toraja. As the transition from the former brand progresses, the company indicated its intention to reassess food-material proposals as a coffee company. The Pukka brand was also promoted as a high-grade product for hotel lounges.
The new SHOTT product Mango was launched in July and has reportedly received positive feedback as sales expand into uses other than beverages at customer locations. In wine, the company introduced Australia's Angove Family Winemakers and highlighted its soil-management and organic-farming initiatives. It is considering launching new flavors in line with seasons and trends, while growth in hotel and accommodation-industry sales is viewed as a growth driver for the foodservice market as a whole.
As a first-time initiative, the trade show is also scheduled to be held in Sapporo in late October. The company indicated that it intends to use visitor feedback in product development and procurement strategy.
