B Premier's new trophy was unveiled at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO on the 22nd, with the design depicting the trajectory of a “swish,” where the ball moves the net without touching the rim. Design and production were handled by no.10, the global design team of 乃村工藝社.
A new trophy for the inaugural B Premier champions was unveiled on 22 September at the opening game between Alvark Tokyo and Ryukyu Golden Kings held at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO. The organizers later introduced the trophy again.
The trophy's design takes inspiration from the trajectory of a “swish,” in which the ball moves the net without touching the rim, and gives three-dimensional form to the moment the ball is drawn into the goal. It incorporates traditional Japanese techniques and materials, and is designed so that its movement can be sensed from multiple angles.
Production was handled by 乃村工藝社, which has maintained a long-standing partnership with the B.LEAGUE. The work was created by its global design team, “no.10.” The company has also worked on the B.LEAGUE's spaces and monuments.
The trophy is expected to be passed down to successive champions as a symbol of the pinnacle of B Premier.
