Takachiho Koheki entered into a reseller agreement with US-based XBOW on 23 October 2026 and began domestic sales of the autonomous AI penetration testing platform XBOW. The move comes against a backdrop of NTIC warnings and the need for continuous validation, with the company targeting wider adoption going forward.
Takachiho Koheki entered into a reseller agreement with US-based XBOW and began domestic sales of AI-powered autonomous penetration testing. XBOW reads URLs and specifications, automatically maps endpoints, and uses multiple AI agents to simultaneously validate attack paths, reducing testing that traditionally took several weeks to approximately 1–2 days. Audit logs for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 can also be collected automatically, enabling on-demand validation aligned with the development cycle. Takachiho Koheki plans to expand the service primarily among companies developing and operating applications and SaaS products.
As a market backdrop, cases of attackers using generative AI are increasing, and A2B attacks targeting the analysis of smartphone applications are regarded as one of the major causes of information leaks in Japan. The shift to CTEM is progressing in Japan, driving increased demand for continuous threat validation. With overseas companies such as Pentera and Horizon3.ai leading the automated validation tools market, the domestic adoption of XBOW represents an opportunity for Takachiho Koheki to leverage its longstanding strengths as a technology trading company. The company has set a target of introducing the platform at 100 domestic companies by FY2030 and plans to provide operational support in combination with its existing products.
