サニーサイドアップグループ President and Representative Director Tsugihara Etsuko (次原 悦子) will become Akatsuki’s representative director and chairperson. The companies will promote their integration, and the company name is scheduled to change to サニーズホールディングス in March 2027.
Following Akatsuki’s extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and board meeting held on 30 October 2026, サニーサイドアップグループ’s Tsugihara Etsuko (次原 悦子) became the company’s representative director and chairperson. Accordingly, Akatsuki has moved to a joint representative structure, with Tsugihara Etsuko (次原 悦子) as representative director and chairperson and Koda Tetsuro (香田 哲朗) as representative director, president and CEO.
The background to the appointment includes Tsugihara Etsuko’s (次原 悦子) experience in PR and communications since the company’s founding period, as well as her expertise in creating brand value and extensive network. The stated aim is to accelerate growth across the group by combining these strengths with Akatsuki’s business platform.
Looking ahead, the companies aim to create new business opportunities by combining solutions centered on PR thinking with expertise in digital technology and the IP business. The policy is to promote cross-functional business development, from IP development and cultivation through global expansion.
In addition, Akatsuki plans to change its company name to “サニーズホールディングス” effective 2 March 2027.
