CROSS CAT CO.,LTD. announced that it will begin selling CC-Dash AI Timetable in October to improve the efficiency of scheduling operations. The service organises conditions such as class information, teacher requirements, classroom equipment and capacity, days of the week and periods, then automatically creates proposed schedules that meet them.
Conventional scheduling operations often involve manual work using Excel and similar tools, with implicit rules and know-how tending to be concentrated in individual employees. The service is intended to help eliminate dependence on individuals by organising conditions and automatically generating combinations.
Implementation begins with a proof of concept to verify applicability. Expected benefits and remaining issues are assessed using the proposed schedules, after which the need to develop a production system is determined. Support drawing on many years of development experience is also provided.
Examples of use include university timetable scheduling, work-shift scheduling, personnel and task allocation, and production scheduling, with proposals created to meet the relevant conditions. The price starts at ¥2.4 million per month, excluding tax.
