On 2 November, Juroku Financial Group held the 7th SDGs Festival in Nagoya Marunouchi at the Juroku Bank Nagoya Building in Nagoya's Marunouchi district. The event was co-hosted by Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance to raise awareness of the SDGs and promote related initiatives.
8 business partners from Aichi and Gifu prefectures exhibited at the event, primarily selling local products such as wagashi, cookies and pickles. The exhibits reflected sustainable initiatives, including local production for local consumption and the use of non-standard vegetables. Clothing featuring designs by artists with disabilities was also displayed, and dishes made with processed game meat were served.
A panel exhibition introducing the business partners' SDGs initiatives is scheduled to continue through January 2027 during the event period. President Ikeda Naoki (池田 直樹) of Juroku Financial Group attended the opening ceremony and described the event as one that would lead to new challenges.
The festival is positioned as a supporting event for the Chubu Region SDGs Festival 2026, hosted by the Chubu Region SDGs Wide-Area Platform. Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance also participated as a co-hosting company.
