シーテクホールディングス, an information systems company based in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, was criminally reported to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office’s Special Investigation Department on suspicion of posting on social media to solicit people by suggesting assistance with obtaining a status of residence while posing as foreign nationals, and evading more than ¥80 million in taxes.
The company was reported in June 2025 on suspicion of violating the Corporation Tax Act and other laws. According to people familiar with the matter, the scheme was led by its Chinese national president, Miyazawa Taikai (宮沢大海), and the company develops information systems.
The company allegedly posted content on social media offering assistance with obtaining a Japanese status of residence, had nearly 200 Chinese applicants in total open bank accounts, deposited fixed amounts under the guise of salaries, and then had the company withdraw the cash, thereby inflating personnel expenses and evading taxes.
The company is also suspected of colluding with Chinese-affiliated business partners to reduce reported sales by recording outsourcing expenses based on false invoices. As a result, it allegedly concealed approximately ¥143 million in income over the 2-year period through the fiscal year ended March 2023, evading approximately ¥40 million in corporate tax and approximately ¥42 million in consumption tax for the period from April 2021 through March 2023.
