ナトコ raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending October 2026 after the market close that day. It raised its revenue forecast from ¥23.0 billion to ¥24.5 billion, its operating profit forecast from ¥1.45 billion to ¥2.03 billion, and its net income forecast from ¥1.0 billion to ¥1.46 billion.
The factors behind the upward revision included increased sales in the coatings and distillation businesses despite uncertainty over the outlook for the situation in the Middle East, as well as steady progress on individual projects in the fine chemicals business. In addition, foreign exchange gains resulting from the weaker yen and an increase in interest income accompanying higher interest rates also contributed.
For the cumulative nine months, revenue was ¥18.271 billion, up 10.3% year on year, operating profit was ¥1.65 billion, up 64.8%, and net income was ¥1.236 billion, up 56.4%. Results were therefore above the initial plan.
