HiJoJo Partners launched its Private Market Solutions investment banking business specializing in unlisted shares on 1 October 2026. It completed registration for special intermediation and related activities involving unlisted securities on 25 August, as part of its expansion to connect Japanese and overseas markets.
HiJoJo Partners株式会社 will launch its Private Market Solutions division as an investment banking business specializing in unlisted shares. The division has announced that operations will commence on 1 October 2026.
The business will facilitate private placements and intermediary transactions connecting the funding and secondary-sale needs of unlisted companies and existing shareholders with the investment needs of qualified institutional investors in Japan and overseas. It will also consider accepting investments from overseas venture capital firms and crossover funds, while integrating financial and capital strategy advisory services from an institutional investor perspective.
The company will work with partners including Nasdaq Private Market to pursue “capital market crossing” that connects Japan's unlisted share market with global markets. It is expected to contribute to the government's strategy for developing Japan as an asset management center and to fundraising targets for market intermediaries.
