Zevero and Briink are collaborating to support Japanese companies in preparing their CDP responses through AI and expert guidance. The response deadline for the 2027 CDP disclosure cycle is expected to be brought forward by 3 months, shortening the preparation period.
Zevero announced a collaboration with German company Briink, which co-developed CDP's AI-powered disclosure support feature, "Suggested Response." For the 2027 CDP disclosure cycle, the response deadline has been set for the week of 26 July 2027, approximately 3 months earlier than in 2026. As a result, Japanese companies will need to prepare their responses within a shorter period than before.
As part of the background to the collaboration, CDP launched its AI-powered "Suggested Response" feature on 21 July 2026. The feature was developed through collaboration with Briink. The AI analyzes a company's existing materials and prepares draft responses to CDP's questions. CDP says that early-adopter companies reduced the time required to prepare responses by an average of approximately 40%, while response and completion rates improved by approximately 25%.
Under the collaboration, Zevero will combine draft response generation using Briink's AI technology with quality reviews and ongoing support from Zevero's sustainability experts, reducing the burden of responding for Japanese companies. The services will include quality checks, improvement recommendations, Japanese-language guidance, and collaboration to use GHG calculation data in disclosures. During the 2027 disclosure cycle, parallel work on financial reporting and CDP responses is expected to increase, with the aim of achieving high-quality disclosures.
