The board of directors of Agribank Securities reorganized its management and formally appointed former VIX Securities executive Truong Ngoc Lan as interim CEO. The term runs through 30 June 2027, and the board also decided to remove Vice President Nguyen Hoang Tung from the chairmanship of the Executive Board, effective the same date.
The board of directors of Agribank Securities Joint Stock Company approved a resolution on the management reorganization on 14 September. It recruited and appointed Truong Ngoc Lan as the new interim general director and delegated to him the rights, duties and responsibilities of the position.
Truong Ngoc Lan was born in 1978 and holds a master's degree in business administration. In addition to serving as CEO of VIX Securities Joint Stock Company, he is said to have extensive experience in the financial markets.
The background to his resignation is cited as his resignation from his previous position as general director. Lan was appointed general director in October 2022 and elected to the board of directors in April 2023.
Meanwhile, the board also approved a resolution on 14 September removing Vice President Nguyen Hoang Tung from the chairmanship of the Executive Board. This is expected to advance the transfer of management control at the securities company.
