三越伊勢丹, a subsidiary of 三越伊勢丹ホールディングス, has obtained Platinum Eruboshi Certification, the highest level of certification for companies supporting women’s advancement under Japan’s Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace. The certification was obtained on 15 October 2026.
On 15 October 2026, 三越伊勢丹, a subsidiary of 三越伊勢丹ホールディングス, obtained Platinum Eruboshi Certification, awarded by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to companies demonstrating outstanding implementation of initiatives to promote women’s participation and advancement. The certification is the highest level under the system established by Japan’s Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace and recognises companies with particularly strong initiatives.
Platinum Eruboshi Certification is awarded to companies that have obtained Eruboshi Certification and meet high standards in 5 assessment areas: recruitment, employee retention, working practices including working hours, the proportion of women in management positions, and diverse career paths. It is granted to companies whose practical initiatives are particularly advanced. 三越伊勢丹 obtained the certification after meeting these requirements.
三越伊勢丹 previously obtained 2-star Eruboshi Certification in 2016 and 3-star Eruboshi Certification in 2023, culminating in the Platinum certification.
