FURUNO ELECTRIC CO.,LTD. will participate for the third consecutive year in “Jammer Test 2026,” the world’s largest GNSS testing event. It will conduct in-field resilience testing using the GF-100 series dual-band GNSS reference frequency generator, scheduled for launch in November 2026.
FURUNO ELECTRIC CO.,LTD. will participate in “Jammer Test 2026,” the world’s largest GNSS testing event, in Andøya, Norway, from 14 to 18 September. During the test, the company will use its GF-100 series to conduct in-field resilience testing, with the aim of obtaining data that will contribute to improving the reliability of critical infrastructure.
The GF-100 series supports L1/L5 dual-band reception and implements multilayered protection by combining automatic detection and rejection of anomalous signals with GNSS signal authentication. When an anomalous signal is detected, the system automatically stops using it and switches to free-running operation using its built-in oscillator, thereby maintaining stable time and frequency output.
The company will also conduct commissioned testing under interference conditions affecting Michibiki, Japan’s quasi-zenith satellite system. In outdoor, real-world conditions and under a range of interference scenarios, it will assess reception and the effects of interference, with plans to use the data to improve reliability.
The event will be held in Andøya, Norway, from 14 to 18 September 2026. The official website is the event’s dedicated Jammer Test page. FURUNO ELECTRIC CO.,LTD. plans to use the GF-100 series and AU-500 antenna as test equipment.
