SAP announced the acquisition of Belgian HR tech company TechWolf. The deal will integrate technology that visualizes employees’ roles and skills into SuccessFactors, supporting talent strategy and workforce planning.
SAP and TechWolf announced that they had agreed to an acquisition on 6 October 2026 local time. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
SAP plans to incorporate TechWolf’s technology for visualizing employees’ roles and skills and strengthen support for talent strategy and workforce planning in its current portfolio of HR and talent management cloud products, SAP SuccessFactors.
TechWolf’s platform uses data from customers’ existing HR and business systems and, through a data model called context graph for work, continuously visualizes the work employees actually perform and the skills they use. This information is used to support decisions on hiring, reskilling and redeployment.
After the acquisition closes, the companies plan to integrate data on the skills employees possess and use with operational data and jointly develop new solutions for AI-powered workforce and skills optimization. TechWolf will remain an independent entity, with Andreas De Neve (アンドレアス・デ・ネーベ) serving as co-founder and CEO.
