Septeni Holdings raised its full-year profit forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 to ¥6.0 billion. All businesses expanded in the first half, resulting in substantial profit growth, supported by contributions from equity-method investments and a lower corporate tax burden.
The key points of the announcement are the upward revision of the full-year profit forecast to ¥6.0 billion, reflecting the reduction in the corporate tax burden associated with the liquidation of a Southeast Asian subsidiary and the transfer of shares in LION DIGITAL GLOBAL. The company also disclosed its financial results summary and an overview of its financial results for the first half of the fiscal year ending December 2026.
According to the financial results overview for the six months ended June 2026, revenue rose 9.5% year on year to approximately ¥16.65 billion, Non-GAAP operating profit increased 46.5% to approximately ¥3.03 billion, and profit for the interim period attributable to owners of the parent reached approximately ¥4.09 billion, approximately 2.2 times the previous fiscal year. By segment, marketing communications, direct business, and data solutions all expanded.
As part of its review of the business portfolio, the company established a new AI-related company and made acquisitions to strengthen its D2C business, while also transferring its shares in ビビビット and LION DIGITAL GLOBAL. The company is streamlining its group structure to 28 consolidated subsidiaries and promoting more efficient corporate operations.
In line with the upward revision to the full-year forecast, the company is also considering revising the targets in its medium-term plan for fiscal 2026. In the second half, it plans to carefully assess the impact of the macroeconomic environment while working to maintain and improve its operating margin and balance this with growth investment.
