HP Japan announced the HP OmniBook 5 14, a standard lightweight 14-inch laptop for individual customers, and plans to begin sales from November. The entry model starts at ¥136,400 including tax, while the top standard model starts at ¥185,900.
The laptop features a 14-inch OLED display (1920×1200, touchscreen support) and weighs approximately 1.16kg, emphasizing its slim design. Its CPU is a Core 5 320 (6 cores, up to 4.6GHz), with peak performance supported by an NPU capable of 16TOPS.
Memory options are 8GB/16GB and storage options are 256GB/512GB. The laptop also features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 2 USB Type-C ports and a Windows Hello-compatible IR camera. Battery life is up to 42 hours during video playback.
